You can login or create a Supered account via HubSpot OAuth login. This article will explain some common questions that we've heard.
1. Will my HubSpot instance get changed when I login or connect it?
No, absolutely not. We will never modify data in your CRM unless it's explicitly approved by you.
We affect the UI through our Chrome Extension, so users won't see changes until they install it.
2. Log In: Which account should I pick?
HubSpot has a 1 login to many Hub architecture. So, when you login with HubSpot you need to pick the Hub (Portal) that you want to use.
We recommend picking the Hub that you intend to use with Supered. But we actually only use this to verify your identity and email address, so your CRM's data won't be accessed.
3. App Connection: Which account should I pick?
You must pick the account that you want Supered to have access to. We will sync the fields into our backend, so the account you pick does matter.
4. What do you do with my HubSpot connection?
We have to ask for a single set of permissions across all of our features, so we may be asking for more permission than we will actually use.
We use your HubSpot connection to import fields and field definitions. This is used to display a list of triggers for those fields.
We may use this data for our Process Enforcement feature in the future. This would involve syncing deal health, activity metadata, contacts, companies, or custom objects that you map.
We will never modify data in the CRM unless explicitly approved by you. So if you install a package that provides field creation, you must approve the fields we create in HubSpot.
