How do Process Boards benefit Managers?
As a manager, you'll be able to confirm that your reps are following the processes that have been put in place for success. You can see who is violating a set process and where the process is breaking down. This gives you an opportunity to coach them towards success (and quickly!) because you know where the weak point is in the process for a given rep.
Instead of having to comb through accounts and ask too many questions to determine where your best efforts are spent, you'll be able to use data and process management to guide your next action and coach your reps for success in the areas that truly matter!
👀 Visibility & Oversight
Will Process Boards give me a clear view of who's following the sales process and who’s not?
Yes - You'll be able to see analytics on the process board dashboard which will be a quick glance into who is following the process (i.e. minimum violations) and who may need extra coaching on the process (i.e. many violations).
Will it reduce the amount of time I spend chasing down reps to update CRM fields or fix errors?
Yes - With Process Boards, Reps will be able to clean up their pipeline more easily with straight forward directions on which objects are in error of the process and how to rectify it. Since Rep's will be notified of their violations and will be able to self-correct, that's less clean up for you!
Can I use Process Boards to run my 1:1s or pipeline reviews more effectively?
Yes - Your 1:1's with Reps and pipeline reviews will run smoother and faster because you have a tool to track exactly what's going well and what's not going well, addressing issues right away. You can use your Process Board to walk through current violations, see which violations are getting flagged the most, and coach your Rep for future success. This allows you to enter a 1:1 conversation with guidance and efficiency!
🔂 Rep Coaching & Accountability
How does this tool help me coach my reps in real time?
You can start to track which part of the sales process isn't coming naturally or isn't being utilized by certain Rep's so you can more intentionally target your coaching and do it quickly without guessing or asking frustrating questions to get to the bottom line of what your Rep needs. Ex: If they aren't sending a recap email consistently or they aren't following up in the proper amount of time, you can dig into why right away and help guide them towards consistency more quickly which guides them toward action. Coaching becomes data-driven, not anecdotal.
Will reps get in the habit of updating the CRM properly because of this tool?
Yes - We strongly encourage all Reps to start their day with the Process Board and fix any outstanding violations. As they start to notice areas of weakness, they'll naturally begin to incorporate them into their process out of habit and reduce their violations over time.
Can I see if reps are improving over time with fewer violations or corrections?
Yes - you can view the Analytics of each Rep and each Process Rule right on the Process Board Dashboard.
Can I use Process Boards to reinforce training or playbook concepts we’ve rolled out?
Yes - The Process Rules you associate with a Process Board are essentially your playbook and preferred training reinforced. You can set up a set of rules that match your sales process expectations. For example, if every Rep is required to Send a Recap, Include a Video, Connect on LinkedIn, and Follow up in 5 days, you can create your Process Board to track those specific items. As Reps work through their board each morning, they'll be triggered on any violations that occur, reinforcing reminders of what is expected of them and building habits to self-correct.
📂 Workflow & Day-to-Day Use
Is this embedded in HubSpot or SalesForce?
Yes - as long as you have a provider activated, it will connect directly with HubSpot and SalesForce and interact with the process rules you create.
Is there a way via slack or email to notify reps of violations and the corrections that need to be made?
Not at this time - Eventually there will be a way for reps to be pinged of violations and notified using email or slack and potentially other channels. For now, we recommend that reps start their day with Process Boards to rectify any violations.
What’s the process for fixing violations?
When a Rep clicks the RUN button on a Process Board, it will automatically open up the sidekick extension, show them which processes are in violation and open up their tab to HubSpot or SalesForce to fix in real time. It's that easy! They can then correct and click next until they fix all violations!
Will it slow my team down or add more friction to their workflow?
No - Process Boards should increase efficiency and easily integrate into their day. No more blocking off a day for "Admin work" and CRM cleanup. We recommend that they run their process board each morning and correct any outstanding violations sooner rather than later. This way, it's more feasible to integrate into their day and the violations aren't piling up!
📈 Team Performance & Reporting
Are there dashboards that show me which parts of the process are most violated?
Yes - The Analytics dashboard on your Process Board can be sorted by Process Rule to determine which part of your process needs attention, whether that's more training, a process adjustment, or something else.
Can I track trends over time—like fewer violations or better CRM hygiene?
Yes - The Analytics dashboard will track your overall trends. You can view the following options: All time, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, Last 90 days, This month, This quarter, and This year. The sooner your start using Process Boards, the better! You will not be able to see what was in violation prior to day 1 of using process boards.
Does this benefit how organizational leadership views my reps performance & promotional status?
Yes - When Reps are following the proven process of success that your organization put in place, you'll know who is ahead of the curve and implementing the process. On the flip side, you'll have validation for when a Rep needs more coaching, isn't ready for a promotion, or possibly needs a PIP in place.
📌 Support, Adoption & Practical Concerns
How easy is it to get my team up and running with Process Boards?
It's very easy! - First, you'll want to ensure the proper Process Rules and Process Boards are created. From there, it's as simple as your Rep's clicking RUN on their process board, following the violation prompts, making corrections, and building a consistent habit of checking their board daily!
Will reps actually use it—or just see it as another thing to click?
Reps should be excited to use this tool - It'll provide cleaner CRM's, it'll keep their Admin and Managers from breathing down their neck about what they did or didn't do, it'll help them utilize the proven systems of success within the organization and remind them of any gaps they may have.
What kind of training or onboarding is available for me and my team?
If I spot something wrong in a Process Board, can I make adjustments myself?
Yes - You should be able to make adjustments yourself, especially if you're the one managing the Process Board. If you're unable to make edits, your Admin can provide you with editing access.
